Learn Chords
Most beginners to play guitar, the first objective is to learn some easy songs to play on the guitar. And one of the biggest challenges here is learning all the guitar strings to be able to play those songs.
And it is not always an easy thing to accomplish. Many songs use chords that appear to have been invented for no other reason than to make it impossible to play. No wonder you give up on these songs. They must wait until you get better at playing guitar.
G-Em-C-D
The chord progression of G-Em-C-D is a common sequence throughout the world in all styles of music. You can, of course, transfer to other chords, such as C-Am-F-G or D-Bm-G-A and so on. Another way to "translate" a song that does not fit his voice is to use a capo at any fret you love.
I have compiled a small list of songs that I have found that use these chords. Many of them use the progression throughout the song, while others are played with variations. And some of them use the rest chords as well.
The List
So here, my little gift for those of you who can not find easy songs to play on guitar.
Here are the chords again, with two more variants.
